A Special Thank You

Happy Solstice!

Winter is the time of the Water Element in acupuncture theory - a time to embrace the beauty of deep yin energy: stillness, contraction, darkness, slowness, and the unknown.

On the longest night of the year, we here at Acupuncture In Motion have a lot to be thankful for. We are here and continuously adapting, thanks to our beloved patients and community members who've checked in throughout the year, generously donated resources during our temporary closure and gradual reopening, and expressed affirming words of support and mutual care everyday. We wanted to reach out and give thanks to you for supporting us as we bid a gentle farewell to 2020, and settle and stretch into the new year.

As an expression of our appreciation we're happy to announce that we are ready to bring back Pay-As-You-Wish Community Acupuncture days in 2021, every first Wednesday of the month, beginning on January 6, 2021. (Offer applies during both general community acupuncture hours as well as community acupuncture for seniors and medically vulnerable individuals.)

The highest good is like water.
Water gives life to the ten thousand things and does not strive.
It flows in places [humans] reject and so is like the [unknown].

In dwelling, be close to the land.
In meditation, go deep in the heart..
In speech be true..
In action, watch the timing.
No fight: No blame.

-Lao Tzu, Dao De Jing

Have a Happy New Year.
