We advise all patients to review our Covid-19 policies prior to scheduling an appointment.

What to Expect

The following procedures are currently in place to support access to care:

Screening

ALL staff and patients will be screened for symptoms every day before clinic shifts and in-person appointments. Treatment options will be discussed with patients, based on staff’s clinical judgement in accordance with local public health guidelines.

Now offering Telemedicine!

Virtual herbal consultations are available for individuals seeking Chinese medicine treatment for a variety of medical conditions from home. Includes discussion of self-care strategies, medicinal foods recommendations and/or prescription of custom or prepared herbal formulas. Contactless herbal delivery/pickup options available. Visit our herbal medicine page for more information.

Masks required

Face masks are required by all visitors and must be donned prior to entering the clinic. Exceptions are made for patients under 2, or for patients with certain special needs. Face masks must cover the nose and mouth and fit snugly against the sides of your face during the entire time you are in the clinic. Bandanas, gaiters, or masks with exhalation valves are not permitted. Staff will be donning appropriate medical PPE at all times. If patients/caregivers need a face mask due to damage or improper fit, we will supply one, and ask that you please bring a proper mask the next time you visit.

At Our Clinic

  • Appointments required. Our waiting room is reserved for scheduled patients only. In-person appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • We have restructured our clinic and services. We have relocated to a private office to support social distancing and we have also enhanced our cleaning protocols. We also now have a medical grade HEPA air purifier.

  • All linens and table coverings are single use, and all treatment areas and high-contact surfaces are disinfected after every single treatment. We advise all patients to dress in layers and wear loose-fitting comfortable clothing. We will provide an extra clean cover sheet for patients by request.

Patient Responsibilities

  • Please arrive on time. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice for any appointment changes so that we may fill the appointment time. Please do not arrive late, nor excessively early. Our waiting room is for incoming patients only.

  • Please arrive alone. Patients who require a caregiver are permitted to bring one into the clinic, and the caregiver must also arrive wearing a face mask and complete screening.

Thank you for partnering with us in collective healing.
